This deliciously different version of tacos is quick and easy to make, and a real family-pleaser.
Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ½ c. onion, chopped
  • ½ c. green pepper, chopped
  • 2 c. water
  • 1-1/4 oz. pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 1-1/2 c. instant rice, uncooked
  • 1 c. salsa, or to taste
  • 1 c. shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • Optional: 1 c. sliced black olives
  • Garnish: crushed nacho-flavored tortilla chips
Instructions
  1. Brown beef, onion and green pepper in a skillet over medium heat; drain.
  2. Stir water and taco seasoning into beef mixture. Bring to a boil; stir in rice.
  3. Cover and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, until rice is tender. Sprinkle salsa and cheese over all.
  4. Remove from heat; cover and let stand until cheese melts. Top with tomato and olives, if desired. Garnish with chips.

Beefy noodles has become kind of a staple in my house. It is stick-to-your-ribs, guaranteed that my kids will eat, FAST, easy cooking.
Ingredients
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ onion
  • 2 TBSP cooking oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp seasoned salt
  • fat from browned beef
  • ¼ - ½ cup flour
  • 3 TBSP cooking sherry
  • 3-6 cups of water from pasta pot
  • 1 TBSP Better Than Bouillon - Beef
  • 1 - 1½ lbs egg noodles
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Cut up ½ an onion and saute in a large pan with 2 TBSP cooking oil over medium heat until softened.
  2. Add ground beef, turn heat up to medium-high, and season with salt, pepper, onion & garlic powder, and seasoned salt.
  3. Tilt pan, push beef to one side, and let fat from beef collect on the other. Add enough flour to make a thick roux. Cook over low heat, keeping pan tilted, for 2 minutes.
  4. Set pan back down and combine flour roux with beef. Add sherry & enough pasta water to make a sauce, stir frequently.
  5. Add your Better Than Bouillon, beef, and stir to combine. Taste sauce and add additional salt if necessary.
  6. Add cooked egg noodles to pan and toss to cover pasta. Stir in sour cream.

This quick and easy dish uses cream cheese to add an extra creamy texture to everyday pasta.
Ingredients
  • 1 (12 oz.) package bow tie or penne pasta
  • ½ (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (24 oz.) jar pasta sauce
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ c. shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Boil pasta until cooked through, yet firm to the bite, about 12 minutes; drain and return pasta to pot.
  3. Melt cream cheese into the pasta. Stir pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes into the pasta mixture.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir ground beef 2 to 3 minutes. Add onion and garlic to the beef, and continue cooking until the meat is completely browned, about 5 minutes more. Stir beef mixture into the pasta mixture.
  5. Pour pasta-and-beef mixture into a 3-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over top.
  6. Bake in preheated oven until the mozzarella cheese melts, 5 to 10 minutes.

This is a hearty meal, yet it's quick and easy to make.
Ingredients
  • Patties:
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • ½ c. dry breadcrumbs
  • ½ envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • ⅛ tsp. pepper
  • Gravy:
  • ½ envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 tbsp. flour
Instructions
  1. Combine all patty ingredients; mix thoroughly with your hands and shape into 4 patties.
  2. Brown patties on both sides in skillet sprayed with cooking spray.
  3. Add dry onion soup mix and 1½ cups water.
  4. Cover pan tightly and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove patties to a plate.
  6. In a gravy shaker or jar, combine ½ cup water with 2 tbs. flour.
  7. Stir flour and water into onion gravy.
  8. Stir constantly with a whisk until it comes to a boil. Boil 1 minute.
  9. Return patties to pan.
  10. Serve with mashed potatoes or hot cooked noodles.

Easy to make and delicious to eat, this recipe may become the only one you use for meatloaf.
Ingredients
  • Meatloaf:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • ½ cup chopped green and red bell pepper
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 egg
  • ⅓ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup pineapple preserves
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Sauce:
  • ⅓ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup pineapple preserves
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, bell peppers, onion, egg, ⅓ cup ketchup, ¼ cup pineapple preserves, ¼ cup brown sugar, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce in a food processor until combined; put into a bread pan.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  4. Stir ⅓ cup ketchup, ¼ cup pineapple preserves, and ¼ cup brown sugar together in a bowl; pour over the meatloaf.
  5. Continue baking until no longer pink in the center, about 20 minutes more. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

This casserole is so easy to make and delicious to eat, you'll never by the boxed stuff again!
Ingredients
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 8 ounce box elbow macaroni 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • ¼ cup chopped celery
  • ¼ cup chopped bell pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
  1. Prepare elbow macaroni according to box instructions. Drain.
  2. Heat oven to 425 degrees.
  3. Heat oil in nonstick skillet on medium heat. Cook celery, onions, garlic, and peppers until translucent.
  4. Add ground beef, and cook until brown. Drain excess fat.
  5. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, and spices. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Add macaroni and stir in one cup of cheddar cheese.
  7. Pour mixture into lightly greased 9 by 11 inch pan. Top with remaining cheese.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes.
